Off to a good start!

Well, I signed up for Shapes, which is a local gym for women here in the Tampa Bay area. My starting weight is 186. I am so embarrassed that I have let myself get that big, but it is what it is and I am working to lose about 50 lbs. I powerwalked 1.5 miles on the treadmill today for 3 mins. Not too bad. I am committing myself to at least 4 days a week for at least 30 mins each time. There is no excuse not to do this since the gym has a daycare that Lucy will love to play in while I exercise. I am going to record my weight every Monday and I am going to try and post a picture of my progress every two weeks or so.
